MLSMR uses aliquots of the Working Store solution in DMSO to create microtiter plates for delivery to the MLSCN. The screening centers choose from a range of delivery options including 96-, 384-, or 1536-well SBS plate formats.


The current compound quota is 450 nanomoles per screening center per year, not including material for hit follow-up. MLSMR delivers the full repository collection for standard screening to each center up to twice per year.
MLSMR stores and handles all DMSO solutions of the compounds under nitrogen atmosphere to prevent water absorption. We've validated our process minimizes water absorption and haven't observed compound precipitation from the DMSO solutions.
